Worship & Gatherings
We gather for worship at 10.30am every Sunday ( about 60 mins). We have refreshments at both 10am & 11.30am.
You do not need to have any church background to join us for these services – all are welcome: regular churchgoers, occasional visitors, people who may never have been to church at all but wonder what it might be like. Most of our services follow a set pattern laid down by the Church of England but in a relaxed and informal way. There are opportunities for people to join in with responses, prayers and (usually) music. Individuals are free to take part, or to sit quietly and listen – whichever feels most appropriate.
Our general pattern of worship gatherings is listed below. Make sure you double check in the calendar in case we are doing anything different and to find out if our Sunday service is Communion or Morning Prayer.
You can listen (again) to recordings of many of our Sunday Talks here.
Children & Young People
We welcome children and young people and believe in creating a place where they, and parents/carers, can feel relaxed and where we encourage them to be who they are. The energy, noise and life that young people bring to our community is wonderful.
The first and third Sundays of each month we have Junior Church to create an opportunity for our children and young people to grow in their faith.
On the 4th Sunday we have an informal mini-community for families, at 4pm called Explore. For more information about our mini-communities please contact our Curate, Chris Parkman, email@example.com
If you would like to know more information about Explore or our Children & Young People's work then please contact our Children's Leader, Mary Barnes, firstname.lastname@example.org
We also provide resource packs within our children's area in church for a range of ages.
