Trinity Lunch Club is a Day Centre for older people
10:00-3:00 every Thursday
Trinity Lunch Club meets every Thursday of the year. It’s a lunch club for everyone over 60, whatever their background or faith - to enjoy a freshly cooked 3 course lunch, beverages and activities in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Clients enjoy a diverse range of activities including musical entertainment, armchair exercises, quizzes, talks, bingo, games and crafts. Local school students join the clients regularly.
Transport with passenger assistance is provided to and from the lunch club from Hotwells, Cliftonwood, Clifton and parts of Cotham and Redland.
Trinity Memory Café is for people with memory problems plus their carers
11:00-1:00 on the 4th Wednesday of the montH
On the 4th Wednesday of the month we host a Memory Café from 11:00 to 1:00. The café is a place for people with memory problems and their carers to meet, have a coffee, and cake, get information and advice about dementia with your local Dementia Navigator, or just socialise and chat with other like-minded people. We will provide stimulating activities for both carers and people with dementia which can help prevent boredom and aid relaxation. We'll have everything from live music and sing-alongs, to quizzes, painting, and memory box work, and even informative talks. There is no charge for this service.
Our Day Centre now only operates on Thursdays.
We are always interested to hear from people who would like to volunteer for either of these community groups. Please check the vacancies page for details of any specific needs at this current time.
